For His Glory Christian Assembly was birthed in the nation of India. While on a mission trip, our pastor and founder Rev. Dr. Robert Allen Langevin was a guest speaker at a bible college in southern India, and while preparing his message to the students, God impressed him to start a church here in New Bedford, Massachusetts. 

We began FHGCA in 1992 but strong opposition from the enemy halted the work for a season. We reestablished in 1997 and have continued building the kingdom of God from that time forward. 

We here at FHGCA have a great responsibility to teach and preach the Word of God and to see people encouraged, healed, delivered, transformed, commissioned, and using their gifts and talents for the glory of God. 

We take great care in making sure that what is taught from our pulpit is the unadulterated Word of God. You will know the moment you walk through the door that we honor the Lord and His sanctuary. We protect and guard the presence of the Lord in our church. You will experience the Holy Spirit’s presence and the love of God the moment you walk in.
